March 26, 2021, fate brought Chamberlyn and Jack together at one of Jack’s college friend’s ranch, just outside of Dallas, Texas. From the very first conversation, they hit it off—laughing until their cheeks hurt—never suspecting that almost exactly five years later they’d be standing at the altar, promising their forever to one another.
Chamberlyn began dental school in Louisville, Kentucky, while Jack was living and working in Dallas. Despite the miles between them, they stayed in touch through texts and FaceTime, feeling as though they had known each other far longer than just one weekend.
That fall, Jack invited Chamberlyn to join him at the Austin City Limits music festival over her school break. On a whim, she said yes. What started as a spontaneous trip quickly turned into something more, as their connection deepened with each visit and call. From a Dallas Christmas Ball date to ringing in the New Year together, to a surprise flight bought by friends who noticed their undeniable spark, it became clear this was no ordinary friendship.
February 12, 2022, the two found themselves back at the very ranch where they first met. That night, by the bonfire, Jack officially asked Chamberlyn to be his girlfriend—the start of what they both knew would be something special (see photo above).
Long distance was far from easy, but with intentional communication, carefully planned visits, and a lot of love, they made it through. In May 2025, Chamberlyn graduated dental school and finally moved to Dallas to begin life with Jack by her side.
One month earlier, on Easter weekend, Jack had pulled off the most perfect surprise proposal in Chamberlyn’s hometown of Monroe, Louisiana—complete with a barn full of family and friends who had traveled near and far to celebrate the happy couple.
Today, Jack and Chamberlyn share a love full of laughter, adventure, faith, and joy. By the grace of God, they found their soulmate in each other—and now they can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day with all of you, surrounded by the people they love most.
